Objective is to provide the second level online support in large corporate environment to the HP-SAP customers across the world . Main customers are GE , KONE and UCB . Hardware - HP9000, IBM RS 6000,Siemens-Nixdorf, HP-UX , AIX , Window-NT, Oracle and informix .

Responsibilities

Installation of R/3 systems as and when required , post installation activities , Setting up new clients , Client copies and client transports, setting up transport & correction system and transporting objects from development to acceptance/production systems, defining and automating the backup and recovery procedures , Printer configuration, tablespaces/dbspaces enlargement, Database refresh , Hot package updates and installation of OS patches. Project was carried out in Kalyani Brakes at their manufacturing plant Pune, India. This involves reorganisation of database and performance tuning of SAP system . A detail study of R/3 system was carried out to find out the cause of sluggish performance . New disks were installed and plan was made for the database reorganisation and for the I/O load distribution across the different disks. Hardware - HP 9000 D-class , HPUX 10.1, Oracle 7.2 , SAP R/3 3.oE.

� This project was carried out in Mercedes Benz India Ltd. , Pune , India . Prior to implementation of the project , there were two server one as database & Central instance and second was being used as application server . DBCI was configured as primary node running database and central instance . In case of failure . database & central instance needs to switch over to application server. This Cluster comprising of two HP9000 K-class servers.Hardware - HP9000 K-class, S/W HP-UX 10.2 MC/service guard 10.06, SAP R/3 3.oD, Oracle7.2).

Responsibilities
� Was involved planning of the project and nstallation of MC/Service Guard software and SAP integration software .
� Interacted with system administrator to convert the HFS to JFS and taking various backups in order to protect the database data. Imparted training to the customer about the usage of SAP R/3 in cluster environment.
� Formulated new procedure to start and shutdown SAP iand taking database backup in cluster enviroment.

Description
This was an add on system implemented in SAP R/3( Indian Version) in order to meet the statutory requirements of Excise Dept. System is being implemented at Manufacturing plant of Samsung which is engaged in Manufacturing of Television sets. System maintains various excise register RG23A,RG23C,RG1 , PLA) and takes in account the excise paid on purchasing for MODVAT claim. System keeps track of the excise paid on invoice and pass entries in respective registers. This system was developed on HP9000 machine under HP-UX with Oracle 7.2 as database server .

Responsibilities

Was involved in the creating excise add on tables , source identification for data transfer from SAP standard tables and SAP India localisation version MODVAT table to Excise add on tables. Developed transfer programs to download data to Excise add on tables. Developed Batch data transfer programs. Responsible for basis activities as and when required.

This is an on-line integrated system covering a vast scope under the purview of Sales and Marketing. This is a semi-distributed system implemented over VSAT network, where a salesperson after picking up an order punches it directly into the system, which is then scanned commercially and technically. If an order is found O.K. then it comes into planning stage where the resource planning for the same is done. Thereafter the order is scheduled for manufacturing and dispatch. The order is tracked from order entry to installation of the machines. The Business entities spread all over India can provide their customers the status of orders on line. The financial module is integrated to provide the margins and other accounting details from the modules. The customer support module deals with the installation and after sales services and support to the customer.

Responsibilities
� Was responsible for any value addition to the existing system, analysing new requirements .
� Estimating the efforts involved and allocating resources.
� Program development of Order processing module, invoice generation, despatch module, bill tracking and processing system, picking and packing module. Invoice printing, installation note, sticker printing etc.

This was a complete menu driven system to automate the database backup procedures and monitoring database performance. System helps in taking all kind of backups ( On line, cold and export backup). It uses UNIX cron utility to copy archive logs to standby server on hourly basis. System also monitor the growth of critical tables and send warning message if number of records crosses the threshold limit. System also provides different statistical reports on database objects. System also facilitates with generation of scripts for schema. System uses UNIX SAR and GLANCE utility to monitor the CPU usage and disk IO. This system also monitor the locking in the database. It also helps DBA to find out the all segments reaching to their maximum extents limit and also report the free space in the different tablespaces , provides list of all tablespaces which needs addition datafile. This system was developed in Oracle 7.1 database server and SQL*Forms 3.0 ,PRO*C 1.5 ,PL/SQL.

Description
This system comprising of following modules :

1. Inventory management system including vendor stock management:
The inventory management system will maintain an inventory of components as well as Sub Assemblies. This system maintain multiple stores (e.g. components, Sub Assemblies Store, packing material etc.) . System facilitate with all stores accounting functions (issue, receipts ).
2. Purchase & Vendor Management System
This module caters to the requirements of commercial/purchase department of the company. Module handles purchase of component, capital purchases against capital requisition and specific PRs. It allow monitoring/follow-up of the outstanding purchase orders. The module also monitor vendor performance, both in terms of supply and quality acceptance. System maintain an exhaustive database of existing vendors/suppliers. Purchase order can be generated for local as well as imported components.
3. Bill of Material, Costing and Consumption Analysis
The BOM , Costing and Consumption Analysis system maintains the bill of material of all sub-assemblies as well as finish goods manufactured by the company. System computes the material cost of each finished product/sub assembly, both on latest purchase prices as well as the Wt. average prices in the financial year. It computes the actual material consumption and compare it with the standard consumption as per the bill of material.
4. Material Requirement planning
This system is developed to compute the requirement of material based on preliminary, Intermediate and actual loading /production plan . This module helps in ensuring that optimum material is procured at the required time to facilitate smooth production. The system uses production plan, stock-on-hand ,stock-on-order and shipment schedule to arrive at a precise material requirement plan.

� Developed programs for Bill of Material applications - final assembly and sub assembly ,Material requirement planning , purchase order entry and amendment, issue and receipt modules , kit issue to production line, calculation of standard and actual consumption .
